Native German speaking licensed Optician

Charlie Temple, a young and fast growing e-commerce start-up in prescription glasses is expanding its services abroad soon. One of the first countries we are expanding to will be Germany. Therefor we are looking for a Native German speaking licensed Optician to join the team in The Netherlands. As a licensed Optician you serve our German clients by email and/or phone and you are jointly responsible to ensure our high quality service. A happy satisfied customer is your goal. The full-time position is at our European headquarters in Delft, the Netherlands. In your role as a licensed Optician (part of the Customer Loyalty Team) :
  • you advise our customers in a personal way by email & telephone
  • you process orders in our IT system
  • you maintain contact with the opticians of our customers
  • you comfortably explain eyewear prescription terminology to customers
  • you support and educate your colleagues with your knowledge.
Charlie Temple is daily accessible for our customers from 9 to 18 o’clock from Monday to Friday. We are looking for:
  • a licensed Optician.
  • someone with at least 3 years of working experience as an Optician.
  • a native German with excellent verbal and writing skills, as well as English or Dutch.
  • someone with a proactive, positive, and service driven attitude.
  • someone with a passion for high-quality service.
  • good at communicating clearly and effectively on the phone, by email and online.
  • someone who has empathy and doesn’t panic when it’s busy.
  • someone who is dedicated to making people happy.
  • someone who feels comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
