- To answer the telephone in accordance with standards in a professional and personalised manner
- To answer in a timely manner all emails received daily according to the Service Level Agreement
- To deal with all enquiries in a courteous and professional manner, taking every opportunity to up sell, in accordance with Company standards
- To maximise the hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving, handling, and processing rooms reservations
- To display a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the hotels and their facilities.
- To record full and accurate details of bookings in accordance with Company and hotel procedures
- To be able to understand and to take into account the Revenue management set up, in order to answer to the client accordingly
- To inform clients of the full terms of business, including the cancellations policy and the need to confirm bookings prior to arrival
- To deal with complaints/problems efficiently and effectively, making every effort to resolve them. Should you be unable to, to refer them to your Line Manager but, in any case, advise full details to your Line Manager at the first opportunity
- Customer satisfaction reflected in positive feedback
- Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Department operates efficiently and exceeds Company’s minimum quality standards
- Excellent inter-departmental communication and co-operation
- Low level of booking errors
- Re-active Sales conversion
- Meeting CRO targets
- Spoken and Written German and English Languages Fluently
- Education – hospitality related qualification preferred
- Experience - hospitality related, preferably in hotels
- Proficient IT user
- OPERA / PROTEL PMS experience desirable
- Prior customer service and selling experience
- Customer focused “No Problem” approach
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Excellent organisational skills
- Persuasive
- Confident and courteous manner
- Team Player
- Use of Initiative
- Adheres to company mission and values
- Attends internal and external training as required
- Is prepared to become a designated first aider if required
- To know and follow the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- To be fully conversant with the Fire and Emergency operations.
- Maintains familiarity with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Assists with the training of new colleagues as required
